You can continue
to maintain complete control over your assets
during your lifetime.
Your assets
can be transferred to your beneficiaries
on your death without going through the
Probate Process.
You designate
how - and when - your assets are to be distributed
to your beneficiaries upon your death.
Your estate
may be able to reduce or even eliminate
Federal Estate Taxes.
ADVANTAGES
OF A REVOCABLE TRUST
By placing your
assets (your home or other real estate,
investments, savings, and other personal
property) into a Revocable Trust, naming
yourself as Trustee, you will continue to
maintain complete control over those assets.
You may add or remove assets from the Trust
and you retain the right to amend or revoke
the Trust at your discretion at any time
during your lifetime.
Upon your death
(or if you should become disabled or incapacitated)
the control of those assets will be immediately
transferred to whomever you have named in
your Trust as your Successor Trustee, without
the necessity of Probate Court approval.
The property
which you have placed in your Trust will
always be available to you, and for you,
and will immediately be available for the
benefit of your heirs upon your death.
The terms of
your Trust, as well as the contents of your
Trust, are confidential and are not subject
to the jurisdiction of the Probate Court
nor are they disclosed to the general public.
The Trust can
be designed to provide for immediate distribution
of your property to your family or other
beneficiaries upon your death, or if you
prefer, some or all of the property can
remain in the Trust to be distributed to
your children or grandchildren when they
reach certain ages predetermined by you.
In addition
to avoiding the Probate process, a Revocable
Trust may also be a beneficial way to reduce,
or even eliminate, Federal Estate Taxes.
